I wrote this marketing brochure for the prestigious Ensign House development at Battersea Reach through photography and design studio Amber Room. Their client, the developer St George, was keen to establish a tone of voice which might convey the location’s dominant position at the heart of contemporary London living to an affluent international audience. Brochure for property developer St George.

INTRODUCTION

Outstanding apartments with breathtaking views over Central London and the River Thames.

The Penthouses offer a rare opportunity to acquire an elegant and refined sanctuary of superb elevation, awash with light, whose spacious roof terraces gaze down on the Thames as it flows through one of the world’s most sophisticated and vibrant cities.

INSPIRATION

THE CASCADING ELEVATIONS OF BATTERSEA REACH PRESENT A LANDMARK PANORAMA ON THE SOUTH BANK OF THE RIVER THAMES.

With a picturesque riverside walkway running its entire length, and a charming and peaceful piazza to be found amidst the award-winning landscaping of its gardens, Battersea Reach offers myriad spaces in which to relax and reflect.

Residents enjoy the reassurance of secure and discreetly managed underground parking, as well as the convenience of the development’s private ‘Gym and Tonic’ health and fitness suite, and its fully appointed Business Centre. ‘Cake Boy’ (the enticing café and patisserie) and ‘Young’s Waterfront’ bar and restaurant, further obviate the need to stray.

The foyers of each building at Battersea Reach have been interior-designed to reflect the elegance and discernment of the locale, and in common with its waterfront neighbours, Ensign House offers enchanting views of the river from its terraces and balconies.

STYLE ON YOUR DOORSTEP

BATTERSEA REACH’S PRIVILEGED LOCATION PLACES IT AT THE HEART OF THE STYLISH SHOPS AND RESTAURANTS OF OLD YORK ROAD AND BATTERSEA SQUARE

The ‘villagey’ delights of Battersea’s most popular thoroughfares are well known, and from Ensign House dozens of charming bars, restaurants and designer shops lie close at hand.

The Victorian elegance and mouthwatering cuisine of ‘The Alma’ pub; the premium fare and day-long hosbitality of ‘The Butcher and Grill; and the epicure delights of ‘The Pantry’ delicatessen exemplify the calm and most civilised neighbourhood into which you will stroll when you set out from Battersea Reach.
