This is a complete site planning and full-content project, for a genuinely innovative and evangelical operator of residential care homes. I’ve found a distinctive and bold tone of voice, in a traditionally conservative sector, in an effort to give NEST an appropriately bright and confident personality. Website planning and full content for care home operator NEST.

A bit about Nest

Nest is a new name in, and a different approach to, residential care.

Our care centres around safe, comfortable living in modest sized houses where we create the sense of support, security and possibility that one might enjoy in a family home.

Although Nest is a new name, we already have a 12 year record in providing care in partnership with Essex Social Services, the NHS, HMPS MAPPA and a range of private health organisations.

Nest isn’t the kind of company that can be defined by a corporate profile, however.

Nest can only be defined by its amazing residents, fabulous team, and the wonderful and fulfilling lives they share.

What we believe

We believe in changing lives through a unique care approach.

We know that by creating supportive ‘family home’ environments in which people can lead simple everyday lives, by recruiting exceptional care workers and by providing them with a unique code of practice, we can deliver great care.

We believe we can also help redefine the possibilities of residential care everywhere.

Our approach

  • create a ‘family home’ environment where residents can enjoy a simple and fulfilling everyday life to their full potential;
  • recruit committed, passionate care workers, and support them in every way possible, providing opportunities for a clear career path in care;
  • design personal, goal driven care plans for each resident, encouraging them to strive to live life to the limits;
  • implement a unique ‘DREAMS’ operating framework which ensures the quality and effectiveness of our care, and the safety of our residents and our team.

Our areas of care

We are building a portfolio of safe, supportive and welcoming homes where people with a range of care needs can live or stay, feel safe and happy, and have their lives changed for the better.

  • Learning disabilities, mental health and challenging behaviours

We provide expert, long term residential care for people with learning disabilities, mental health issues and challenging behaviours at both our Chignall House and Willow Tree Lodge homes in Chelmsford, tailoring our delivery to the specific needs of each resident.

  • Depression and drug and alcohol addiction rehabilitation

At Royal Lodge, our private Retreat in Clacton, we provide expert support and care for people undergoing treatment for depression or dependency rehabilitation. We work closely with our guests themselves, their medical practitioners and any other involved parties to provide support and encouragement that can contribute to successful rehabilitation.

  • Elderly care

We are continuing to expand our capabilities and home resources, so that we can offer outstanding care for residents or guests in each of these circumstances.

Our people

Providing care our way means we need to find care professionals who understand, share and are inspired by our approach.

Every one of us believes each resident is an individual whose capabilities and potential, as well as needs, must be thought about carefully to create a day to day life that maximises that potential.

Great people are rare and precious. If you are a care professional who understands our approach, and who might like to work with us in Essex, or North East London, get in touch.
