PROFESSIONAL COPYWRITING FOR BUSINESS
I’m one of the UK’s most experienced professional marketing copywriters.
I’ve worked solely in freelance practice since 2000, after having spent the 18 years before that as a Copywriter and Creative Director at some of the top advertising and marketing services companies in the UK.
When you hire me your project benefits from experience that was gained writing for companies like Unilever, Goldman Sachs, the BBC, The Guardian, Marks and Spencer, Panasonic, Aviva, Siemens and many others.
This may explain why the role I fill for my clients often extends some way beyond copywriting.
(If your need is more for help with marketing than actual copywriting, then you might like to take a look at my consulting site at laurenceblume.com.)
I try to be responsive and easy to work with, and I take a thoughtful, intelligent approach to understanding your business objectives.
I have an extensive commercial understanding and a deep knowledge of marketing as applicable to both smaller and large companies.
I understand in great depth about brands and the inter-relationship between service/product and brand, and I take enormous care when writing to apply this knowledge to the needs and expectations of your target readership.
As well as having well over 25 years of experience of writing web content (and so a comprehensive, long-term perspective on SEO), I also have lots of experience of scoping, specifying and managing web development projects.
Should you need assistance in this area, do please ask me. (I’m a competent web developer myself, though I rarely build sites for clients.)
I’ve been fortunate enough to win a considerable number of industry awards for my work as a copywriter.
I live and work in London, UK.
