If you’re looking for a newsletter copywriter who can produce a regular email newsletter for you, I’d be delighted to talk to you about how we can get the very best from this low cost but extremely powerful marketing tool.
As a writer with lots of experience, my focus is on ensuring your newsletter can build ongoing relationships for you with customers and prospects by sharing news, opinions and offers relevant to your business.
The best way to organise your newsletter.
While it’s perfectly acceptable to produce self-contained newsletters that include full details of stories, offers or deals in the email itself, I tend to think it’s better to use the format to deliver an overall introductory section about whatever we’ve decided to feature in this edition, and then summarise further stories with short lead-ins which then link to blog posts or news stories posted on your site.
If you have a process in place for posting these regularly then building a weekly, fortnightly or monthly newsletter can be very simple indeed.
If you don’t make regular posts to a blog then I can simply write the stories for you as part of the preparation of each edition, but we can still then post them to the blog on your site so that they can be clicked through to from the newsletter.
Your email ‘ambassador’.
Whichever way we approach it, I think it’s important to see a newsletter as a highly valuable, ongoing ‘ambassador’ for your business.
Providing we make sure that each issue contains stories of genuine interest or value to the people on your list, rather than wasting their time with boasts, hyperbole or endless low-value offers, each mailing can continue to keep your brand in the subscriber’s mind for ever. By gradually building trust and painting a picture of the business, it will sell your products or services when, in due course, the subscriber has need of them.
Get the benefit of a good newsletter… and a good copywriter!
