Here's a brief summary of the work which will need to be done, and which we'd be happy to deal with for you.

Designing your job

All my design projects are looked after for me by an excellent designer with whom I've worked over several years.

She trained at the Royal College of Art and was previously a Creative Director at BBC Worldwide.

Her experience and judgement ensure beautiful and appropriate design solutions on every job.

It's the designer's job to oversee and manage how your job 'works physically, looks and feels' at every stage from concept through to finished item.

The role includes creating the overarching look and feel for your item, arranging all of the content into the format of the item, and crafting the detail of how it works. The designer also defines the format for your item if neither you nor necessity predetermines this; takes care of locating or originating any photography or illustration you might need; and selects and specifies papers, cards, varnishes and surface finishes to give your project the optimum feel.

Preparing your job for printing

Once you have approved the design and layout, your project will then need to be prepared very precisely and outputted in the form required for delivery to the printer.

This artworking is done either by the designer or, depending on its complexity, by a specialist artworker. Its accuracy remains the responsibility of the designer.

Buying your print, and managing its quality for you

Specifying, buying and managing print is a specialised discipline which governs both the quality and cost of the final job.

I work with an extremely experienced Print Manager who ensures that, whatever the job I pass to him, it is produced efficiently and with enormous care for the detail of the specification.

We're able to arrange to have absolutely any item at all printed for you. Our print manager chooses print firms ideally suited to each particular project, obtains quotes which are competitive, and will handle the entire process of production through to delivery on your behalf.
